01/05/2020 BATTLE AGAINST CORONA : DO NOT BELIEVE ON UNFOUND FEAR : Dr Ravi Gupta

Greeting!

 with the ongoing fight against Corona. As some of the frontline policemen and health care workers are getting afflicted with coronavirus, another unique problem of hatredness and stigma against them has erupted in this society. This is bad and unscientific as we know that the Corona infection spreads through droplets for miles and close contact only. So there is no reason that we should have hatred against these people. Similarly, another problem is disrespect towards the dead bodies of persons dying of Corona is another problem.

So if we take precautions of hand hygiene, social distancing and cough etiquette, we should not fear of getting infection from any one of them. In fact, when we know the positive status of Corona of someone, or we know that someone is in contact with Corona patients and we take precautions. The chances of spread of the diseases are nil. So do not believe on misinformation, share these fears and give respect to everyone, including the front line workers.
